I love meeting new people and putting a smile on their face. It is a true pleasure working with our patients and helping them get started on their journey to a beautiful smile! Prior to joining the St. Johns Pediatric Dentistry Team of family dentists, I worked with children teaching in a preschool, afterschool program, and summer camp. I love working with kids and couldn’t imagine doing anything else! Outside of the office, I enjoy the beach, biking, working in the yard, and shopping. I have two wonderful children, Carter and Reagan. I love spending time with my kids, husband Bryan, and dog Roxy.
My favorite part of being a dental assistant is when I am able to help a patient who is having a hard time. Our team is compassionate, gentle, and caring. When we are able to encourage an anxious patient to get through an appointment and they leave proud of themselves and smiling, it’s a great feeling! I was born and raised in Colorado. Ever since I was 10 I knew that I wanted to be in the dental field. I attended Colorado University to earn my Expanded Duties Dental Assistant Certification and have been working in pediatrics ever since! Outside of the office I stay busy with my fiancé Shawn and our little girl Chloe. I enjoy snowboarding, surfing, hiking, country dancing, and spending time with my family.
I love working in a practice that specializes in caring for children. They’re so creative and expressive in everything they do, which makes every day a true joy! I love it that we are able to laugh together all the time! I am originally from California and attended San Joaquin Valley College to earn my Dental Assisting Certification. I have worked in the dental field for 25 years now- in general dentistry, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry. I have lived in the Jacksonville area for 15 years and am happy to call it home. When I’m not working, I stay very active with my church. I also enjoy working-out, horseback riding, and going to the beach.
I really enjoy talking with our patients and their families. Helping them to have a positive experience while visiting us is my favorite part of the day. I love seeing the children smile and say, “I love coming to the dentist!” It’s a great feeling to work somewhere that is so upbeat and cheery. I grew up in Green Cove Springs and graduated from Florida State College at Jacksonville with my Expanded Duties Dental Assisting Certification. My husband Brian and I share our lives with our son Easton and two Jack Russell dogs- Jack and Buster. We enjoy fishing and spending time with family and friends.
Working with kids has always been a passion of mine. I graduated with my Expanded Duties Dental Assisting Certification from South Florida State College. I recently moved to Jacksonville from Sebring, FL and am so blessed to have been offered the opportunity to work with this amazing team. My goal as an assistant here at St Johns Pediatric Dentistry is to make sure every patient leaves with a bright smile. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends out on the water and shopping.
I am very passionate about working with children. My goal is to make sure the patient and their parent have been given the best experience and care possible. I am a Certified and Licensed Dental Assistant. I grew up in Minnesota and attended St. Cloud State University graduating with an Associate degree and then went on to St. Cloud Technical and Community College where I received my Associates of Applied Science in Dental Assisting. I graduated in 2014 and have been working in Pediatrics ever since. I moved to the Jacksonville area in October of 2015 with my husband and we are loving the weather! Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Dan, and our cat, Leonardo DiCatrio. My passions in life include dancing, traveling, trying new restaurants, decorating, biking and watching football (Go Vikings!).
I grew up in North Georgia and lived there until moving to Jacksonville in 2008 with my beautiful daughter who is now 19 years old. I have been in the field of dentistry for over 20 years and could not see myself doing anything else. I truly love my job and enjoy coming to work every day. I love being outdoors spending time with my boyfriend, Tommy. We especially enjoy being around the water, be it swimming, surfing, snorkeling or diving. We are always out looking for adventure. We also stay busy in our spare time running our own business diving for golf balls for local Florida golf courses.
After graduating from Flagler College with a degree in elementary education and specific learning disabilities, I taught special education for five years and then focused on staying at home to raise my own family. Although no longer in the classroom setting, I continued to work with children tutoring for the past 15 years. All of my adult life has been blessed with working with children. It is with great pleasure that I join a setting which is child-centered. The dentists and staff at St. Johns Pediatric Dentistry are an amazing and talented group who have a unique gift of working successfully with children. I am happy to be part of the practice. The best part of my life is raising my three wonderful children and spending quality time with them and my husband of 23 years.
